Beskrivning

Inspired from the famous ”Tentures des Indes”, set of 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins during the XVIIth centry. The original artwork was designed by Albert Eckhout and depicts the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries met great success and were woven all through the XVIIIth centry.
